Today, I have just tried out Facebook’s social advertising platform. Generally, you can choose either a pay-per-click or pay-per view model. It is a very interesting advertising channel whereby you can actually target your ads to very specific group of demographics.
For example, if you know that a particular weight loss product that you going to promote converts very well with women over the age of 30, you can actually set up your Facebook campaign in a way that your ads will only be shown to women over the age of 30. This makes your advertising very targeted which will most likely increase click-through and conversions.
Moreover, Facebook social advertising also allows you to include an image to your ad. Personally, I like the idea of attaching an image to your ads… it just makes the whole ad looks more appealing.
As I only launched this campaign today, I cannot give you specific results on it. However, I will definitely be posting more updates & results of the Facebook campaign in the coming posts.

I have been using the facebook ad platform for a long time now and do really well with it. It used to suck, but now Facebook has put a whole lot of investment into its ad platform and it shows. The laser-like targeting ability that facebook has is incredible these days.
Good luck with your campaign and let us know the results!

Yep, I realized there is a huge potential in Facebook social ad platform which is why I am so eager to try it out.
However, Facebook is really strict with its ad text creation… and after creating 8 ad text, only 1 got approved.
Well… first time using facebook social ad platform, so I guess I will need sometime to figure it out.
Will be posting the results back here!
