Using different pen names for every niche that you are in is very important to your affiliate marketing success. The sole purpose to use pen name in affiliate marketing is to establish yourself as an UNIQUE EXPERT in every niche. If you use the same name for every niche, you will be confusing your audience about your expertise.

Personally, I will use my real name in the main niche that I am in, which is usually in Internet Marketing (IM). For all my other affiliate niches that I am in, I will definitely use a different name to enter each one of them. Let me list down some of the reasons why using pen names is good for affiliate marketing:

1. Easy to be recognized as an expert. By using one name across all niches, you will be perceived as a jack-of-all-trade. With this perception, it will negatively affect the brand and any mini-sites that you have set up. By using one pen name per niche, you will more likely be seen as an expert in the niche.
2. To protect yourself from competitors. If you are using the same name for every niche, your competitors will just have to Googled your name and he or she will be able to find out which are the niches you are in. They will be able to analyze which niches you are successful in and copy the way you design your squeeze page, landing page, headlines, etc.
3. It is more organized. Yes, maybe you think that this is not an important point at all… but for me it is. I am a very organized person, and using different pen names for different niches just seems more organized and systematic to me. It is like duplicating your affiliate system from one niche to another niche.

Moreover, when you enter a niche, you will most probably need to use articles to market your sites or free reports etc. In article marketing, using pen name for different niche is even more important. You will most probably submit your articles to EzineArticles.com (EZA). EZA allows you to create pen names and you should leverage on this. By creating unlimited pen names, it make it very simple for you to keep track of your articles.

The CTR is different for every niche that you are in. Having a CTR of 20% may be good for 1 niche but poor for another. Therefore, by using different pen names to write your articles, you can group your articles accordingly for easier performance tracking.

I have been writing articles for the past 1 years plus and for me, EzineArticles.com (or in short EZA) is always the best article directory out there on the Internet. If you are into online marketing but yet to explore into article marketing, you should really look into it. With EZA around, article marketing can be so efficient that you will be getting tons of consistent traffic to your site everyday with just articles alone.

However, to succeed in article marketing, hard work and effort need to be put in. You must learn how to write fast but yet produce informative articles that your readers will enjoy. At the same time, you will also want to write as many articles as possible in the beginning to market your site as fast as possible.

Article marketing is definitely a potent weapon when it comes to driving traffic. The bottom line is if you do not have time to write, you should always outsource it to freelance writers out there. Do not forgo the idea of article marketing just because you cannot write well and fast.

In the first place, it is actually not advisable to promote affiliate products by just driving traffic directly to the merchant’s sales page. You are not building assets if you are doing this. You need to build your own websites, lists, and products. Anyone can apply bum marketing by writing keyword-optimized articles and rank well on Google. This means that the level of entry point is very low and you have very little leverage.

Instead, you should build your own site to promote affiliate products. At the same time, use what you have learn in article and bum marketing to drive the traffic to it. In this case, at least you are controlling the traffic over at your site.

To drive traffic using article marketing, you will need to master how to write an article fast. The benchmark of writing one article is about 10 minutes. I know that for those of you who are not familiar with article writing, you may find that it is very hard to churn out an article within 10 minutes. Bu believe me, you can as long as you practice hard enough.

The key to churn out an article within 10 minutes is to just type. Yes, just type. Choose a good title with the keywords that you want to target, and start typing. Many people can’t churn out an article within 10 minutes because they spend too much time thinking on what to write. The key here is to just type whatever that comes into your mind relating to the title, and you can edit them later.

In each of the article that you write, you will need to tell the readers 3 things:

1. What is this article about?
2. Give them what they are looking for
3. Call to action to your site.
